PRICE REDUCED! The RV-6 Adventurer is RV-6 kit number 60 and construction was started in 1992. The current owner bought and finished the airplane when the original owner lost his medical. The current owner completed this highly modified RV-6 in 1996. The builder continued modifying the airplane through 2005 when he upgraded the panel for the Electronic Flight Instrument System (EFIS) and added the Garmin avionics. The airplane has been test flown to 28,000 feet and is regularly flown at 25,000 feet.
This turbocharged RV-6 “Adventurer” is a special airplane for pilots who want travel adventures where most aircraft can’t go. With 96 gallons of internal fuel the most remote airstrips are within the range of the RV-6 Adventurer. This airplane has been north of the arctic circle and down near the equator to innumerable airstrips throughout North and Central America. This airplane will let the most adventuresome pilot accomplish his dreams and go places without the fuel logistics nightmares of most aircraft. Need more fuel? Just slip in the additional 14 gallon cabin fuel tank. This airplane can fly more that 24 hours and still have reserves.
